Craig B. Barrett   Eugene Supernor

President, CEO and Founder

Craig B. Barrett - President of Braynt GrinderCraig Barrett has spent his working career in the machine tool industry, being employed by two machine tool remanufacturing companies in Connecticut, then Jones & Lamson in Vermont before founding VMTC in 1983. His experience, background and strength is in sales and marketing, having sold extensively throughout North and South America. He holds a Business degree from American International College with majors in economics and finance.

V.P. Operations Manager

Eugene Supernor - Bryant Grinder Thirty-seven years experience at Cincinatti Milacron, Heald Corp. with assignments in middle and upper manufacturing and quality management.
He served as Director of Quality for Heald and Special Project Manager for Milacron, Ohio. He was President / CEO of Patriot Engineering. Gene joined VMTC in September 1996. He holds an AS degree in Industrial Engineering from Central New England College, attended Clark University, Worcester State College and is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute School of Industrial Management.

 

Myrt Graham   Brian Murphy

Bryant Sales Manager

Myrt Graham - Bryant Project Leader Myrt started his machine tool career in 1977 as a draftsman. He completed Bryant Grinder's OJT engineering program and has worked as a designer, proposal engineer, applications engineer and engineering supervisor. In addition to designing spindles, tooling and accessories, Myrt produced the original concept drawings for some of Bryant Grinder's latest machines. He has served as Bryant's grinding process specialist, advising in the application of abrasives, coolants and dressing tools. In his present capacity, Myrt evaluates new programs, prepares proposals and acts as project manager for machines in process.

Materials Manager

Brian Murphy - Bryant Grinder Brian joined VMTC in January 1998 with experience in sales and sales management for the following industries: Printing / Graphics, electrical supplies, restaurants (owner, manager), and real estate. Managed a sales force of up to 200 persons, hired and trained personnel. Brian's experience includes Controller for 1.2 Million electrical supply business, V.P. Sales / Marketing, Springfield Printing Corp. - six years, District Manager for Friendly Ice Cream and Corporate District Manager for Idlenot Restaurants - eight years, owner of Alibi Restaurant - four years.

 

Richard Desbiens   Karin Lewis
Field Service Manager /
Manager, Programming CNC / Electrical Engineering

Richard Desbiens - Bryant Grinder

Thirty-two years at Bryant Grinder as an Electrical Engineer in Controls Design and Training Director conducting sales and service seminars. He holds a Patent on "High Frequency Control System using Digital Techniques." Three years NC controls design for Cone Automatic, Windsor, VT. Joined VMTC in 2002 to coordinate Customer Service and Training for both VMTC and Bryant. Studied Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston and University of VT.

Spare Parts Sales

Karin Lewis - Bryant GrinderTwenty-two years with Bryant Grinder starting as engineering clerical support, then Field Service Coordinator, then to the Parts Department.

Computer skills include Microsoft Word / Works, Lotus notes, Excel. Attended Westbrook College, Westbrook, Maine, Liberal Arts.

 

 

David B. Johnson   Cecil B. Henn

Production Manager / IT Coordinator
David B. Johnson - Bryant GrinderTwenty-two years experience in machine tools at Bryant Grinder. Held positions as Proposal Engineer, Stockroom Supervisor, 2nd shift Supervisor of Machining, Production & Inventory, Control Manager, Purchasing Manager, and materials Manager.

Dave has a B.S. degree in science, Certified Production / Inventory Management with American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).

Senior Consultant

Cecil B. Henn - Braynt Grinder Over thirty years machine tool experience with fourteen years as a Head of Autonomous Business units of ExCello Corporation, managing Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Accounting functions with P&L responsibility. Cecil has spent twelve years as manufacturing Business Consultant serving domestic clients and overseas clients through the International Executive Service Corp. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Indiana University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton.
